What I will be reading in 2018

I didn't read enough books in 2017, so this year I have picked out a good sum of books to aim for in the hopes that maybe having a finite list will be less intimidating than my more nebulous to-be-read pile. I picked out 25 titles (at first), which quickly expanded to 30 because I kept thinking of more I've been meaning to read and should really expedite. And then I added even more because I have currently already read like half of the first eight books and need to finish them. The following is my list:

  1. Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer (sci-fi)
  2. The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin (fantasy)
  3. What Color is Your Parachute by Richard N Bolles (self-help)
  4. Conspiracy of Whispers by Ada Harper (sci-fi romance)
